ADA Title II · current federal rule
Plan around the right date.
April 26, 2027
Public entities with a population of 50,000 or more.
April 26, 2028
Public entities below 50,000 and special district governments.
These are the rule’s web and mobile technical-standard dates following the interim final rule. Use the DOJ’s population method; a school district is not automatically a special district. Read the DOJ guidance and date rules ↗
Start with a snapshot
One site.
A defined scope.
For a district clerk, municipal team or web professional who already has a captured website to review.
Download a synthetic JSON example ↓What to send
One UTF-8 JSON file, up to 16 MiB. It contains the website origin, capture dates, a robots.txt receipt, and the captured HTML for up to 50 pages. It can include up to 100 document captures. Decoded bodies are limited to 12 MiB total and 4 MiB each.
The example shows the required fields and base64 body format. Ask your web team to prepare the snapshot; this upload does not accept a URL, ZIP or loose HTML files. Send only public-site records you are authorised to share, without student, account or other private data.
What comes back
One ZIP: an HTML report, findings CSV, document census CSV, manual-check CSV, remediation-plan CSV, crawl receipts CSV, manifest JSON and the original snapshot. Every finding cites its source; omitted resources and unknown measurements remain visible.
What your team still does
Review the findings, perform the manual checks, make repairs and verify them. This pack covers the supplied pages only. It does not render interactive states, test assistive technology, repair a site or determine whether an exception legally applies.
Your records, your decisions
Review the scope before checkout.
Preview the actual findings first. Your snapshot is retained for seven days from upload; delivered files for seven days from delivery. You can request deletion earlier. Keep your own downloaded copy.
One snapshot, zero included revisions and seven days of support. The accepted scope and order terms govern delivery and refunds. A changed snapshot needs a new scope.
