The schedule against the test results

You have a circuit schedule and a sheet of test results, and nobody can say which circuits are still outstanding.

The result, on the sample

This is the finished result, made on this page from the sample file below. It is not a picture of one.

2 outside tolerance, 2 still outstanding, 1 identifier ambiguous, 9 comparisons without verified units.

  • 12 scheduled circuits against 12 results.
  • 7 inside the 5% tolerance, 2 outside it.
  • 2 scheduled with no result; 1 result with no scheduled circuit.
  • 1 identifier with more than one reading; 0 rows this page could not read.
  • 0 comparisons refused because declared units differ or are missing. 9 numeric comparisons have no unit column on either side; physical compatibility is unverified. Add a unit column to both files to check it.

% of the scheduled value

Running your own file needs scripting turned on. The result above, and every word on this page, do not.

What it does

  • Pairs each scheduled circuit with its result on the identifier, and compares the reading against the scheduled value at your tolerance.

It will not It pairs two rows only when the identifiers are the same. It will not pair a result with a circuit whose identifier merely looks close.

  • Lists the scheduled circuits with no result, and the results with no scheduled circuit, as two separate lists.

It will not It never nets one against the other. A count of eleven against twelve tells you nothing about which eleven.

  • Flags an identifier that appears twice in either file, and leaves both rows in place.

It will not It will not choose which of two rows with the same identifier is the real one.

What it will and will not do

  • Two CSV files, each with a header row
  • Up to 5,000 rows per file and 2 MB per file.
  • Circuits are matched on the identifier, exactly, after surrounding spaces are trimmed.
  • A tolerance you set, as a percentage of the scheduled value. Readings are compared as numbers, not as text.

Your version

Three questions about the work, not about you. All optional, and there is no account.

If you want us to do it

$199.00 version 2026-09-13

Two whole exports, reconciled on our server and returned as an exceptions file you download, plus a configuration you keep and can run again. Priced as a guess; nobody has bought it.

A price we have guessed at. Nobody has bought this, and the version is on the record.

The paid version runs on our server, not in this page: you send both exports, we return every exception as a file you download, and a configuration file that runs the same job again next month.
